TCN uses industry standard AutoCAD software exclusively throughout the design process. TCN staff is also experienced in the use of Synchro and SimTraffic to evaluate, and compare traffic operations of complex design alteranatives. Other specialized software includes AGI32 lighting design software. 

Popular Microsoft Office suite programs such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher are used for most production work.

Specialized computer graphics programs have also been used on projects. These include PhotoShop, Fractal Painter, Page Maker, 3D Studio MAX and others. Graphics programs are used in producing high quality graphics for project newsletters, presentation materials and reports. They are also useful for performing photo-realistic renderings of proposed project alternatives to aid the understanding of the public and other non-technical persons.

Advanced Computer Facilities

TCN uses a high speed Windows computer network with built-in system redundancy and encrypted automatic backup systems to assure system viability. The network is equipped with high capacity hard drives, printers, flatbed scanners, photo quality color printers and broadband internet connections. To facilitate client communications, TCN uses the internet for both web site and e-mail.
